How much does it cost to hire the Function Suite ?
The large function room starts at £100.00 to hire.
The Balcony suite starts at £75.00 to hire.
All room charges book your event for a three hour time slot for either a Morning or Afternoon event and Include an access one hour beforehand for set up/decorations.
How many guests does each room hold ?
The large function suite seats up to 90 guests or 110 standing
The Balcony suite seats up to 30 guests.
What does the room hire include ?
The room hire includes the basic set up of the room including table, chairs, white linen tablecloths and a choice of either orchids or storm lantern table centre pieces, and includes the entertainment license.
What events can be held within the function rooms ?
We have catered for all types of occasions including Weddings, Birthday parties* Children's parties*,Christenings, Engagements, funeral teas, and Corporate meetings.
*Please note we do not book children's parties on Friday or Saturday evenings
What is the policy for children attending evening functions ?
It is Scottish licensing law that children 12 and under leave the premises by 8pm.
Can we supply our own catering ?
No due to health and safety requirements we do not allow any outside catering to be used on the premises. We can supply all aspects of catering even if we do not have a requested item on our menu we are happy to tailor a menu to suit each individual clients needs.
We do allow a celebration / birthday cake to be used during each event.
Can we hire the function room only ?
We will not accept any bookings without a catering package of at least £300.00 being taken along with the room hire.
Does the minimum spend requirement of £300.00 include alcohol ?
No this is for catering only.
Can we provide our own alcohol ?
No we have a fully licensed bar and provide a variety of drinks, please feel free to contact us if you have an event booked and would like to check if we have a stock of any unusual alcohol you may require for your event?
Can we decorate the room ?
Of course you may decorate the room, all we ask is that you do not use any pins or anything that may deface the woodwork or paintwork. We find that sellotape or blutac works well within the room.
If you don't have time to come and decorate the room, please ask staff to assist you with this as we can arrange for you to drop off your decorations and staff can decorate the room ready for your arrival.
Do you have any entertainment available ?
We have several contacts that we highly recommend including DJ's, live bands or children's entertainers. If you request more information we will be happy to assist with the booking.
How do we book your function rooms ?
A provisional booking is held for 7 days from the time of booking and payment of the room hire charge is required as deposit to confirm reservation.
